Do you believe in the power of film?

We produce films and docs with our community that positively transform society.

“Those of us who work in the film and TV industries carry an incredible responsibility in these troubled times.”

— Julia Verdin | Founder, Artists For Change

Our films are raising awareness

150,000 American children are lured and forced into sex slavery every year.

Films is a significant medium in raising awareness and educating communities on what trafficking looks like and the techniques traffickers use to recruit victims. Artists for Change Founder, Julia Verdin was kind enough to give us a copy of her film "Lost Girls."

Thank you, Artists for Change, for your collaboration in our Youth Empowerment Safety Symposium 2021. The short film LOST GIRLS directed by Julia Verdin as well as the panel with cast and human trafficking experts effectively engaged the students and parents from the Long Beach Unified School District and was a great success in raising awareness of this important issue in our community.

Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force

Films can be pivotal to raising awareness and educating communities on what trafficking looks like and the techniques traffickers use to recruit victims. Artists for Change Founder, Julia Verdin was kind enough to give us a copy of her film “Lost Girls.” It has been very helpful in encouraging audiences to be hands on with support of our charity and get involved. The film has also been a great tool to use for the educational work we do raising awareness among various sectors in our local community. At The Lily Trust, we don’t have the budget or filmmaking knowledge to create this important media ourselves. We are delighted that Artists for Change will be creating more educational media. We need the support of skilled filmmakers to provide us these valuable media tools.
