ALCOHOLISM

Project Type: Short

Current Stage: Development

Current Status: OPEN for Donations

This is a narrative short film created to raise awareness of ALCOHOLISM and its effect on families.

WHY THIS FILM?

In 2015, a study found that 30% of Americans have suffered an alcohol-use disorder at some point in their lives—but only 20% of those suffering seek treatment. Denial, stigma, and fear keep many Americans trapped in a vicious cycle of addiction that affects not just themselves but also their families.

With this currently untitled short, we hope to artistically and effectively challenge pre-conceptions about alcoholism by showing the devastating effect one man’s alcohol abuse has on his family while also offering hope to those who are trapped by this disease.

Change is possible. But only when we reject stigmas and embrace hope.

We hope you will help us in our efforts.

WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Give a voice to those affected by alcoholism.
