Morris S. Levy
Mr. Levy is president and founder of M.E.G.A. Films (Morsly Entertainment Group and the Arts) in New York. This is a full service production company that handles all of the entertainment arts including movies, theater, and television.
Prior to focusing on the entertainment business, Morris was a principal at Morsly, Incorporated, an apparel company that designed, and manufactured women’s clothing for top-tier retailers across the U.S. and Canada. He had run this business for over twenty five years.
Other business interests also include ownership and management of commercial and residential properties in New York City, Long Island, Indianapolis, Massachusetts, Michigan, Louisiana, Atlanta and Dallas.
His philanthropic work includes founder and first president of his synagogue Shaare Zion of Great Neck. He also was the pioneer in raising funds and managing the clean-up of the Mount of Olives cemetery in Jerusalem. He also served as journal dinner chairman for numerous charities and has served on eight boards of directors for different charitable institutions and is a supporter and close confidant to the Labor and Kadima parties in Israel (Shimon Peres, Ehud Barak Yossi Beilin, Efraim Sneh, Dalia Itzik, Alon Pincas, Danny Gillerman etc.).
He ran The Alan King Pro-Am celebrity tennis tournament for ten years at the Jersey Shore and Great Neck, N.Y. for charity. The past champions that he has brought have been Ilie Nastase, Pat Cash, Guillermo Vilas, Ken Rosewall, Stan Smith, Jimmy Connors, Roy Emerson, Johan Kriek, Andres Gomez, Peter Fleming, Aaron Krickstein, Luke and Murphy Jensen.
